Justin Holdren - Past Events

This exhibition will feature 2 of my paintings. The exhibit is a joint venture of gallery artists and photographers from the Chatham Camera Club. Painters were asked to choose a photo from a camera club member, and then paint their interpretation of the photo. The artists' paintings will be exhibited next to the photographers work they are interpreting. This should be a fun exhibit! You can view the pieces during the 3rd Friday Artwalk in downtown Siler City on March 19, 2010 from 6 - 9 pm and other times when the gallery is open. Hope to see you there!

I will have some recent paintings on display at the Asheboro Public Library for the months of March and April. Stop by and see them if you get the chance! I will have information there on how to purchase the pieces if you see a painting you like.

This will be a solo exhibiton of recent works. There will be a mix of miniatures and larger works, with many of the small works priced under $100. This would be a great way to start your art collection and buy a one of a kind original at an affordable price. Hope to see you there!

I will have some paintings in this show titled "A Passion for Plein Air". This exhibit will feature paintings of the Piedmont, North Carolina region that were completed outdoors on location. The exhibit will be at the Alamance County Arts Council at 213 S. Main St. in Graham, NC. The opening reception will be on Sunday, July 16 from 2 - 4pm. The show will run from July 16 - August 19. I will be showcase artist for the month of June at the BAL Gallery. The show will run from June 8th - July 1st. The opening reception will be on Saturday, June 10th from 7pm -9pm at the gallery. I will be having a solo show in May at the Mebane Arts Center. The show is titled: "Travels with my Paintbox - An Artist's Impressions". The date of the opening reception will be May 2nd from 7 - 9pm. The show will include mostly plein air and studio landscapes inspired by my travels in North Carolina and my travels to Africa, Bahamas, and Florida. Hope to see you there!
